Established in 2004 as a cultural forum for the Swahili speaking migrant community in Leeds and the vicinity, LSCC’s original goals was to help prepare the children from the Swahili migrant families for a multi-cultural life in the United Kingdom by providing them with relevant Socio-cultural training. But now Leeds Swahili Cultural Community has grown and extended its services to other communities around Leeds, where regular mainstream and religious educations are provided as well.
To support and actively involve the grassroots communities in sustainable community development for our secure future. Always “Promoting Education of our children for the benefit of the society – today and tomorrow”
